About me

Helena Rampley

I graduated with a First Class Honours degree in English from Royal Holloway, University of London, and am now studying for an MA in Writing for Stage and Broadcast Media at the Central School of Speech and Drama.

To me, the theatre is the most important artistic vehicle we have for the communication of ideas: it is able to explore the emotive and the intellectual in a more immersive way than any other medium. Despite this, it is frequently misunderstood. My hope it to dispel some of the myths surrounding it – the bravado, the pretence and the obfuscation – by taking in all of what it has to offer.

My other interests include Ted Hughes, Bellowhead and the outdoors.
